Overview

The Sales Executive represents Olde Raleigh in the market as a key member of the Olde Raleigh Team. This individual is a sales “hunter” and enjoys the opportunity of meet new people and build relationships. Key attributes for the position include a passion for whiskey, customer-service excellence, and a results-oriented mindset. This individual loves closing new business and commission checks!

Responsibilities
  • Visit customers (ABC Stores/Bars/Restaurants), build rapport, & increase sales
  • Make regular sales calls/drop ins to on & off-premise customers to cultivate customer relations and satisfaction with the service provided
  • Work closely with the CEO to collaborate on goals and objectives
  • Achieve assigned monthly sales goals and placement objectives
  • Analyze the territory to determine the priority selling, promotional, opportunities
  • Implement and maintain up-to-date accurate records of sales in territory
  • Participate in relevant trade shows, festivals and marketing initiatives
  • Provide training to all new accounts on brand/product(s) to include mash bills, and pairings, distilling process, history, quality and current trends
  • Conduct in-store tastings and bartender training to educate customers, retailers and restaurateurs about Olde Raleigh products.
  • Maintain store shelf standards, brand displays and inventory as necessary
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to help develop marketing campaigns
  • Attend Team meetings to discuss issues, opportunities and share best practices
  • Establishing/following an efficient site visit pattern to service accounts as needed
  • Prepare a weekly Activity Plan in advance for the following week
Basic Qualifications
  • Previous Sales, On-Premise (Restaurant/Bar/Hospitality) or Off Premise experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry in North Carolina desired
  • Executive Bourbon Steward, Whiskey Sommelier, or WSET Certifications a plus
  • Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., smartphone) and online communication (email, posting, texting, etc.) in a professional manner
  • Able to maintain a valid and current driver’s license & personal transportation
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • 21 years or older
